The Strange Vision of the Dark Sun

Boy, this was weird.    For 4 days I have been the sickest I have ever been in my life.   I was, literally, out for 4 days.   My body was wracked with pain, from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet.   I don't know what it was.   Nothing would take the pain away, pills, lotions, wine, whiskey,chants to cthulhu (heh, heh), prayers.   If I laid down it hurt, if I stood up it hurt.   It was like my muscles and joints twisting all the time.   Then, at the end of the 4th day I was laying face-down in the bed, I raised my head and, I kid you not, shut my eyes and instantly I could see I was in a dark landscape, everything was dark, really dark I could see out-lines of a mountain range, where I was looking and a sun had risen, I say a sun, because it didn't look like our sun.   Anyway, I was looking at this dark sun, not yellow, but a blackish-white (can I say that?) sun in the sky just above the mountain range I am looking at this thing and lightning shoots out of it, one of the weirdest visions I have ever had.   The lighting shoots out of this thing and hits me directly in the eyes, It shocks me enough to throw my eyes open, I am just mystified by what I had just saw!!!!    I tried to shut my eyes again, within seconds, to see if I can see this again, but, of course, only blackness.    The really weird thing is that I improved radically and was feeling pretty normal within minutes of this and was able to walk around pretty good and the pain had subsided, at least back to its old levels.   LOL!   To much to hope it would have healed everything, but no go.   I missed 4 days of work because of this, called in, but might lose my job now.    Ah well!   Trust Hashem!  I am now limping very much in my left leg, strangely enough, the pain is really intense in my left leg now whenever I have to put pressure on my knee or if I try to get up from sitting or standing.   Have to make sure to stand and rise slowly on it and ladder climbing is out of the question, LOL!    This happened this week, it hit me Monday, right at the end of work and I missed the rest of the week and finally, finally was able to stand normally (well, normal for me) again.    Really weird series of events.   Have I said I hate pain, well, I do, pain totally sucks ASS!!!   All I could think about afterwards was that song "Black Hole Sun".   LOL!




 One other moment that this made me think of was that wonderful movie "Hellraiser 2"  (great movie).  Thought about the song above and "Hellraiser 2" the rest of the day.   I went looking and found the image for the movie and whadda ya know, there's my little friend the blue-white pyramid.   Weird!

I will probably still be thinking about it until I watch it, that's how it usually works.   The movie was just great, IMHO.   Watch it if you haven't.   Don't let the kiddies watch it though, only my oldest daughter would watch it with me, LOL!    I just recently got Netflix and I gotta tell ya, I'm hooked, such a great thing.   I can now watch stuff on the TV through that wonderful Nintendo WII, LOL!
