Lost: Encounter with the Darkness

Well on to my thoughts. Ben had an encounter with the darkness or smokey as it is affectionately called. What did he see?

What is this?

Entering the darkness
The darkness revealing the truth about yourself, providing insight and showing that you are naked before it.
All in all a really good episode with some more truth in it. This entering the darkness to find out the truth about yourself and to see that we are always naked before it. LOL, sorry to be so cryptic just thought it went with the theme of this post, LOL. Though to be serious there is truth there. Little poem I wrote awhile ago. Posted it on the old blog, but wanted to repost it again.

Fear and Divine

See the unknown and reap knowledge.
Look into the darkness and understand.
Is man an absolute in an infinite?
Wrapped in a dying caste and reborn.
What is fear and the wisdom of divine?
Craft a path and notice the entrance.
Can you see an door where there is only a gate?
For that is all the darkness is, unknown, unseen.
Not apparent for in the brightest light,
as well as the darkest night,
both make us blind.
Only in the midst of the two furies can we see.
See clearly enough the path to the truth.
The light blinds and the darkness hides.
I see clearly in the darkness.
